PIN FASTENERS

- A pin is a device used for fastening objects or material together.
- Has low/same strength of a steel bolt.
- No need to remove in normal maintenance.
- High strength pin fasteners used in some locations in an aircraft.

- Hi- Shear rivet
- Has the same shear strength as steel bolt
- Has diameter size same as steel bolt , but the length may differ.
- More strength than conventional rivets.
